Size Chart

A Sari comprises 3 essential components - The Sari, the blouse and the petticoat.

Sari:

Our Saris come in one size fits all. They are 44" wide by 6 yards long.

Blouse:

Our blouses come in Small, Medium and Large. All rental saris are shipped with a matching blouse in size medium and you can choose your backup blouse in any size you choose. The backup blouse is picked by us in Gold, Silver or Black which we determine will look best with your sari selection.

Petticoat:

Our Petticoats have a drawstring adjustable waist and will fit anyone with a waist of up to 40 inches. The petticoat goes under the sari so the length is not as much of an issue.

Anarkali and Lehenga Size Chart

Our Anarkali's and Lehengas come in X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large sizes.

Measuring Guide for Anarkali and Lehenga is

Chest: Measure around the fullest portion of your chest, just under your arms.
Waist: Measure around your fullest waistline.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips
Shoulder: Measure from one tip of shoulder to the other across the back.

Indo-western Comes with added allowance of 4 inches to the chosen size for Garment Fit. For ex.: Lets say if your exact chest size is 36 inches then your ready garment comes with 40 inches chest size, the 4 inches loosing is standard tailoring concept of Indian ethnic wear.

Waist line comes with added allowance of 4 inches to the chosen size for garment fit. For ex: if your chest size is 36 inches then your waist line is 30 inches approximately. So 30+4=34 would be your waist fitting for indo-western. The 4 inches loosing is standard tailoring concept for your comfort wear.

Also hips in the ready made garment is made as per standard tailoring concept of ethnic wear.

Note: All the above mentioned measurements are in inches, as per indian ethnic wear concept, & that of a ready made garment.

SARI RENTALS:

We hope that you like everything you order from our site.  We provide you with two blouses for each sari to make sure you get a perfect fit. However, if for any reason you are not happy with your order, you can ship the items back unworn using the provided return label, in exchange for Saris and Things credit, minus shipping costs.  You must contact us via email at customerservice@sarisandthings.com within 24 hours of your arrival date in order to have the credit issued. Please include your order ID as it appears in your receipt.

NON-RENTAL ITEMS:

We will accept return for a full refund on your purchase on non-rental items like  Swimwear, Jewelry or Blouse purchases within 30 days of your purchase date.  All items should have the tags attached and must be unused, unworn and without stains to qualify for a return.

All our saris automatically come with a matching blouse in medium size and an adjustable waist petticoat. We will also send you a backup size blouse at no charge, which you can choose in size Small, Medium, Large, X-Large or 1X.

Check Out - Select Your Rental Start Date

At checkout, please let us know the date you require your order to be delivered in the comments box. We suggest you choose your rental start date 2 days before you plan to use it so we can ensure you receive it on time.

Shipping

We usually ship via USPS or UPS.  Standard Delivery usually takes 3-4 business days. If you would like your rental order to be delivered earlier, please select the Expedited Shipping (2-3 Days) or Overnight Shipping (1-2 Days) option. 

Return For Free

Look absolutely beautiful in your sari and jewelry on your special day. On the 5^th day of your rental, simply put the sari and jewelry back in the same box we sent it to you in, attach the pre-paid mailing label we provided and drop the package off at any USPS / UPS drop box.  Returning is always 100% free. We will do the dry-cleaning.

If you are traveling and need a longer rental period, do let us know and we will extend your rental period for $20 for up to 2 weeks of extra time.
